# OTOY Account

An account is required for a Service Consumer to run computational workloads on the distributed network and for a Node Operator to contribute GPU compute power to the Dispersed Network and earn RENDER rewards

## Account Management

Once you have chosen a username and registered, the username cannot be changed. Profile Updates are allowed such as changing your password, email address, and contact information.
